Klehm Arboretum & Botanic Garden Wedding | Katie & Zach

Katie and Zach got ready at Embassy Suites in Rockford before heading to Klehm Arboretum & Botanic Garden for their ceremony and reception — and if you've read our favorite Rockford wedding venues, you already know Klehm is one of ours. Their outdoor ceremony unfolded on a lush green lawn under a wooden arch, with their golden retriever right there in the wedding party, and the lush gardens around them did exactly what they always do: turn every portrait into something out of a storybook.

The reception moved into a white tent strung with a greenery chandelier overhead, and from there the night just didn't stop. Honestly, the laughter is what we remember most about this one. The groomsmen and bridesmaids were an absolute blast to work with all day, cracking jokes and keeping the energy light from getting-ready through the last dance, and Katie and Zach themselves barely left the dance floor. Add in a hora dance lifting them both into the air and a sunset silhouette to close out the night, and this is one of those weddings that reminds us why we love what we do.
